7 Last-Minute Preparation Tips For Class 10 Board Exams 2023

Declutter study space

The first thing to do when the exam is around the corner is to declutter the study table or surroundings where students spent the majority of their time. Keep only NCERT books, necessary reference books, and study notes. Keep your focus clear and do not study many books at the same time.

Choose a quiet environment

Choose a secluded place to study. Study in a place where there is no noise from TV and people. Prepare the right time to study. This will set your routine and will help more in studying and remembering things.

Revision is the key

One common mistake often made by students is to not revise till the last day. Revision is the key to performing exceptionally well in the examination. Read the chapter, topic, and concept as many times and then, once you feel confident, write down important points in a notebook. During the last leg of preparation, revise those important points.

Practice sample papers and check errors

Solve the official sample question papers within the stipulated time. Check the weak areas, see where you are lacking, and improvise.

Analyze paper pattern and marking scheme

Understanding the CBSE exam pattern and marking scheme is very important. It is different for each subject. The question paper pattern can be inferred from the sample papers released by the board.

Stay calm and don't over

Study before the exam - Keep calm and compose a day before the examination. Do not try to cover everything last day, just focus on the topics you have studied to date.

Take care of your health

It is needless to say that exam times are highly stressful. Therefore, it is important that you take proper care of your health at this time. Eat properly, take proper rest, and indulge in activities that keep the mind relaxed.
