Google has introduced a new experimental AI chatbot named ‘Bard

Bard is been seen as a bid to counter hugely popular AI based chatbot ChatGPT

Bard is an experimental conversational AI service based on Google's Language Model for Dialogue Applications

The chatbot is expected to explain complex subjects in terms simple enough for a child to understand

It is also expected to explain more mundane topics like tips on planning a party or lunch ideas etc

Google will also use AI to get to the heart of what people are looking for

The new tool will initially be available to a group of 'trusted testers' before being widely released later this year

Google's big announcement comes ess than two weeks after Microsoft said it is pouring billions of dollars into OpenAI
