Mitigate (verb)  Meaning: to make less severe or painful   Example: The company implemented new safety measures to mitigate the risk of workplace accidents. 

Proliferate (verb)  Meaning: to increase rapidly in numbers  Example: In recent years, social media platforms have proliferated, making it easier for people to connect with each other online. 

Corroborate (verb)  Meaning: to confirm or support a statement, theory, or finding  Example: The findings of the study were corroborated by several other independent researchers. 

Alleviate (verb)  Meaning: to make something less severe or intense  Example:  The doctor prescribed pain medication to alleviate the patient's discomfort. 

Augment (verb)  Meaning: to make something larger, stronger, or more effective  Example:  The company decided to augment its workforce by hiring more employees.  

Pragmatic (adjective)  Meaning: dealing with things sensibly and realistically  Example: The company adopted a pragmatic approach to solving its financial problems. 

Pervasive (adjective)  Meaning: spreading widely throughout an area or group of people  Example: The effects of climate change are pervasive and affect people all over the world.
