Lion's share

Meaning:

If someone gets the lion's share of something, they get the largest part of it.

Examples:

  • It's all right for him, he has the lion's share.
  • The lion's share of this has gone to Mostar.
  • The Commission is financing the lion's share of the cost of this programme.
